THE FIRST PROTOTYPE OF AGE OF DOGFIGHT WW1 GAME

Games themed around aerial warfare have been our focus since designing our first game, Saratoga (1992 - 1996)

We decided to create a whole series of games about pure air combat, with no action from and to land. We use our original Triangl system for positioning and movement of pieces https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgamefamily/26759/triangle-system. The common name for all these games will be Age of Dogfight. Logically, the first in the series features airplanes from the period of the First World War.

The first prototype was made in our workshop. The board has two two-part segments. Airplanes fly and fight at three different altitudes. We have made several stamping tools with the help of which we have made several types of markers and sliders on our roll-stamping machine. The set includes aircraft (18 pieces each) from Germany, France, and the United Kingdom.
